BUFFALO, NY—Oneonta (11-2-2/7-0-1) remained atop the SUNYAC standings with one game remaining, defeating host Buffalo State (6-8-2/1-7) 3-0 today at Coyer Field. The win extended Oneonta's unbeaten streak to 13 games while putting them one win away from clinching the SUNYAC regular season title outright. The Red Dragons play at Fredonia tomorrow and need a win and a Brockport loss or tie to secure the top seed and a bye for the conference tournament, which begins next Saturday with first round games.
Buffalo State generated the best scoring chances in the opening minutes, but Oneonta broke through in the 31st minute on a long blast inside the right post by
Eric Fortier (Pleasant Valley/Arlington) (Pleasant Valley/Arlington). The Red Dragons pushed the lead to 2-0 in the 39th minute when
