ONEONTA, N.Y.—The SUNY Oneonta women's soccer fell 1-0 to Allegheny this afternoon in its opening game of the 2010 Mayor's Cup Tournament. The game was played at Hartwick College as the Red Dragons are now 2-1 in the early season.

The game was as close as the score indicates with Oneonta holding a slight advantage in shots (10-8) and corner kicks (4-1). Junior Amy Lusby (West Babylon/N. Babylon) (West Babylon) got her first start of the season in goal for the Red Dragons and recorded three saves.

Allegheny's goal came in the 82nd minute of play as Becca Crissman slid a shot by Lusby unassisted.

The Red Dragons will conclude the tournament at home tomorrow with a game against Carroll University of Wisconsin beginning at 11:00 a.m.
