Miller was instrumental in the first dual-meet win versus Cortland since the men’s team was elevated back to varsity status in 1998. It came down to the final relay to help the Oneonta State Red Dragons defeat Cortland 122-121.

Miller won two individual events while swimming a leg on the winning 200-yard medley relay to start the meet for the event. He won the 200-yard individual medley in a time of 2:02.99 while he also took first in the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 54.46.
