The SUNY Oneonta men’s cross country team opened its 2018 campaign with a first place finish at the SUNY Poly Short Course Invitational. The Red Dragons took eight of the top-11 places in scoring 30 points, 15 points ahead of second place Utica.

Leading Oneonta in the race was sophomore Ryan O’Rourke who was the fourth runner overall in the race covering the 6K distance in a time of 20:00. This was O’Rourke’s debut race for the Red Dragons.
