Kennendy helped the women’s cross country team make a statement last Saturday with its fifth place finish a the NCAA Atlantic Region Championhips at Letchworth State Park. The fifth place finish for the women was its best team finish ever, bettering its ninth place finish from two years ago.

Danielle posted a sixth place finish in a time of 21:31 for the 6K race just 24 seconds out of the top spot. Kennedy’s finish is the best in the program history. The 21:31 is Danielle’s fastest time posted in her collegiate career to this point, surpassing her personal best set at the Inter-Region Rumble back in October.

Kennedy earned All-Region honors for her performance on Saturday and will be headed to the NCAA Championships.
