Competing for the first time in the Pentathlon this season, Ford broke the school record in the event at the Bomber Invitational hosted by Ithaca College yesterday.

Ford scored a total of 2,972 points in finishing fourth overall eclipsing the old mark of 2,919 points set a year ago by teammate Amanda Roney.

During her five events, Ford recorded a season best in the high jump (1.61m, 5’ 3 1/4”) while recording a personal best mark in the shot put (10.39m, 34’ 1 1/4”).
