In Oneonta’s only contest last week, McElroy scored a game high 31 points to lead the Red Dragons to a 100-87 victory against SUNYAC opponent New Paltz.

In the process of scoring his 31 points, McElroy broke the all-time scoring record for the program that was set in 2015 after it had stood for 25 years. McElroy eclipsed the mark of 1,455 points when he converted a pair of free throws in the second half of the game. McElroy currently has 1,458 points in his 3+ years at Oneonta.

McElroy currently leads the 8-6 Red Dragons in scoring at an even 21 points per game. He has scored in double figures in all 14 games this season including a pair of 30+ games.
