Shine finished third this past Saturday at the NCAA Division III indoor track & field championships to earn her first All-American honor.

She had the fastest time in Division III entering the meet and qualified eighth in the prelims before ripping off a personal best time of 2:10.71 in the finals. Her time reset her own school record from the previous weekend when she qualified for nationals while also breaking the SUNYAC record in the event of 2:11.22 set back in 1991.
