SUNY Oneonta Athletics

The women’s track & field team finished in sixth place with 67 points at the SUNYAC Championships hosted by SUNY Cortland.

Leading Oneonta was Parsons, who won the lone SUNYAC title for the women in the hammer throw.  It was the first conference title of her career and she won the event with a throw of 50.10m (164’4”), setting a school record in the process.  

Parsons also scored in the discus throw with an eighth place finish in the event.
