Gillen helped lead Oneonta to a seventh place finish at the Citrus Invitational held last week in Florida. Gillen, who was seeded second at 174 lbs., swept through his bracket enroute to winning the title.

Gillen recorded four wins by decision and received one victory by medical forfeit to go 5-0 during the two-day event. In the championship match, he defeated top-seeded Brent Hamm of Cornell (IA) College 5-3.

Gillen is currently 13-4 on the season with one pin.
