Makar has helped the women’s lacrosse team to a 5-0 start this season including two wins this past week over Hartwick and Marywood.

Marissa and the defensive unit have allowed 42 goals on the season including only 15 in the last two games which included a 17-6 win over Hartwick and 19-8 victory over Marywood.

Against Marywood, Makar picked up four ground balls while she was able to cause four turnovers on the Pacers.

Marissa currently leads the team in ground balls and caused turnovers with 21 and 16 respectively.
