DeSimone helped her team to a 1-1 record this past weekend in the opening weekend of SUNYAC play.
    On Friday, she scored the game winning goal in the 103rd minute against Oswego to help the Red Dragons edge the Lakers 2-1. She took a pass from Kori Hamm and made a move on a defender before sending a shot into the back of the goal for the win.
    Against Cortland, on Saturday, DeSimone tied the game at 1 apiece in the middle of the second half when she finished a rebounded shot that fell at her feet.
    DeSimone leads the team in goals and points.
