Bernstein earned All-American honors this past Saturday at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field championships hosted by North Central College in Naperville, Ill. Bernstein finished second in the 60m dash in a time of 6.84, less than one-tenth behind Dennis Thurgood of Wisconsin Eau Claire, who ran a 6.76 to win the national championship. Last Spring, Bernstein edged out Thurgood to win the national title in the 200m dash.

Bernstein has now earned four All-American certificates including the one national title. Bernstein ran third in the preliminaries on Friday with the same time of 6.84. His time was just shy of his school record in the event of 6.82, which he set in winning the SUNYAC championship.
