Roth turned in his second record-setting performance of the season this past Saturday at the Ithaca Quad Meet.  This week he grabbed the school record in the 35-lb. weight throw after last week soaring past the shot put record.  He now holds both indoor records in the throws.

Roth’s distance of 16.59m (54’ 5 ¼”) in the weight throw went over a foot farther than the old record of 53’ 1 ½”) that was set at the SUNYAC championship in 2009 by Mike DeVasto.  His distance in the weight and his toss in the shot put of 15.25m was good enough to win both events.
