Cox competed at the Ithaca College Invitational this past weekend and set the standard in the men’s heptathlon for the Red Dragons.

Dustin was the first competitor from SUNY Oneonta to compete in this event. He finished in 10th place overall, out of 23 competitors, with a total of 4,091 points for the seven events.

The heptathlon consists of 60m dash, 60m hurdles, 1000m run, high jump, pole vault, long jump and shot put. His best finish in the individual event was in the 60m dash where he was sixth with a time of 7.46.
