Peter Pjetri earned a second place finish in the 197 pound weight class at the Cirtus Invitational compiling a record of 2-1.

Pjetri’s first win came on a technical fall over Liberty’s David Trigg. In the Semifinals, Pjetri captured a hard fought 8-6 decision over UNC Pembroke’s Andrew Colborn. In the championship match, he dropped a major decision to Liberty’s Austin Amos in the finals.

Pjetri is currently 9-6 on the season with four pins.
