In his first SUNYAC championship appearance this past weekend, Mangogna broke the school record in the pole vault. Finishing third in the event, Mangogna cleared 4.40 meters (14'-5 1/4") breaking the old mark by eight inches.

Mangogna also competed in the decathlon finishing 7th overall and setting four personal best marks during the two-day event.
