Harvey had the highlight of the non-scoring meet at Vassar College when he set a new school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Harvey finished the race in a time of 9:26.52 which eclipsed the old mark by more than two second. The previous record was set back in May of 2007 by Matt Durkin.
