SUNY Oneonta Athletics

In his first action of the season 10 days ago, Lamonica placed second in the 285 lbs. weight class in helping to lead the Red Dragons to a second place team finish at the Oneonta Red Dragon Invitational.

Lamonica was seeded third in his weight class and finished the day 3-1 overall.  Along the way to the championship match he defeated three unseeded wrestlers before falling to the No. 4 seed, Corey James, of Cortland.

Oneonta is currently 3-2 on the season and will wrestle again this weekend at the Petrofes Invitational hosted by Messiah College.
