Monteith became the program’s all time leading scorer last Tuesday when they defeated Potsdam 17-11 on the road and helping the women’s lacrosse program to its best start ever.

She lit it up for eight goals on the day while adding one assist for nine points. Monteith now has 212 goals, breaking the old mark of 209, while totaling 266 points to pass the old record of 264. The eight goals also tied her single game record, which she did twice during the 2010 season.

In Saturday’s defeat at Fredonia, Monteith netted six goals and improved to forty goals on the season.
