Gregory begins his third year as a strength & conditioning coach for the SUNY Oneonta athletics department. He is a 2009 graduate of Oneonta where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics. While at Oneonta, Gregory was a four-year starter for the lacrosse team while spending a season in the wrestling program. Kevin is currently pursuing his Master's Degree at SUNY Plattsburgh in Fitness and Wellness Leadership.
After six years working in retail sales and sales management, Gregory followed his passion for fitness and athletic performance by becoming a certified Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the International Sports Science Association.
Through his own initiative – Barbarian Strength & Conditioning - Gregory trains athletes to maximize their performance and become better versions of themselves both on and off the field.
Gregory also played semi-pro football for the Oneonta City Stallions for four seasons earning multiple All-Star team selections including All-Star Game MVP honors as a defensive end. He has since retired from football and focuses specifically on Obstacle Course Racing. He finished up his fifth full season racing with a ninth place finish in the Spartan Race Stadium Series.
Currently in his 6th year, Gregory is training to compete at the World's Toughest Mudder in Las Vegas in November and the Spartan Race Ultra Beast World Championship in Iceland in December, both of which are 24 hour races in which the athlete who amasses the most laps of a 5-mile obstacle course wins the race.
