SUNY Oneonta Athletics

Sara Roderick is starting her first year with the SUNY Oneonta Track & Field and Cross Country programs. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 2015 with a degree in Middle Level Education with concentrations in both History and English.

She competed for four years with the University of Vermont Track & Field program. Her events were the Heptathlon and a member of the relay teams. She was the America East Conference Champion as well as the ECAC DI Champion in 2015. She was also a six-time All-Conference performer, four time ECAC performer, is a part of the 4x4 school record and holds over 10 top ten performances at University of Vermont. She was a member of Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and president of College for every student (CFES), Sara looks forwarding to helping student-athletes volunteer within the community.

This past year she lived and taught abroad at an international school in Budapest, Hungary. Before that she was the assistant coach at South Burlington High School where she coached 17 all-state performers in the jumps and hurdles.
