Brianna Spector enters her first year as an assistant coach for the Red Dragons. Spector joins Coach Thompson’s staff for the 2017-18 season.
A native of Philadelphia, PA, Spector was a four-year member of the SUNY Oneonta women’s basketball team, serving as a team leader for her junior and senior year.
She finished out her career playing in 20+ games each season. During her senior campaign, she helped facilitate a 3rd place regular season finish. This was best SUNYAC regular season finish that the team had seen since 2012.
Spector was named to the SUNYAC All-Academic Team her freshman year, followed by the SUNYAC All-Academic Team and Commissioner's List her sophomore and junior year, and then ultimately the SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll during her senior year. She is a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society.
Brianna Spector was selected in 2017 for the ““So You Want To Be A Coach” program by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) held at the Final Four convention in Dallas, TX.
As a student-athlete, Spector served three years as a SAAC (Student Athlete Advisory Committee) representative for her team, and served on the E-Board for SAAC during her senior year.
Brianna Spector will be graduating in December 2017, with her Bachelor of Science as a dual major in Early Childhood and Childhood Education (Birth - 6th).
