Sean Bernstein joins the Red Dragon staff as a first year cross country and track and field intern. Bernstein looks to help the coaching staff lead the Red Dragons to success throughout the three different seasons.
Bernstein, a former sprinter for the SUNY Oneonta Red Dragons, brings with him a multitude of accolades. As an athlete, Bernstein was a 12-time SUNYAC champion, 7-time Division III All-American, and a 3-time Division III National Champion. Bernstein was also named the 2013 Division III National Athlete of the year and NCAA Outstanding Performer of the Championships. Bernstein currently holds seven school records at SUNY Oneonta.
As a senior at SUNY Oneonta, Bernstein will graduate in the spring of 2013 with degrees in mass communications and philosophy. Upon graduation, Bernstein hopes to pursue his master’s degree and a future career in collegiate track and field coaching.
In December 2012, Bernstein received his USATF Level 1 Track and Field Coaching Certification.
