Gregory begins his first season as the strength & conditioning coach for the men’s lacrosse program. He is a 2009 graduate of SUNY Oneonta where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics. While at Oneonta, Gregory was a four-year starting defenseman and team captain during his senior year.
After six years working in retail sales and sales management, Gregory followed his passion for fitness and athletic performance by becoming a certified Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the International Sports Science Association.
Through his own initiative – Barbarian Strength & Conditioning - Gregory now trains athletes to maximize their performance and become better versions of themselves both on and off the field.
Gregory is also an Advocare representative, providing innovative nutritional, weight-management, sports performance and skin care products.
After college Gregory played semi-pro football for the Oneonta City Stallions for four seasons earning runner-up honors for Rookie of the Year as a running back and All-Star Game MVP as a defensive end. He has since retired from football to preserve his body and focus on Obstacle Course Racing. He has been competing in Obstacle Course Races for four years and mainly focuses on racing in the Spartan Race circuit where he is currently ranked in the Top 100 Male Elites in the country.
In addition to strength & conditioning, Gregory will work closely with the team’s defense and man-down units.
