Sherlock enters his third season as a volunteer assistant coach with the baseball program after graduating in 2012 graduate from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in evolutionary studies.

Sherlock was a four-year member of the baseball team at New Paltz and earned honors on the SUNYAC All-Academic Team while being the recipient of the Athletic Director’s Award for dedication and service to the department.

While in college, Sherlock played three summers with the Sherrill Silversmiths (2009-2011) and was a NYCBL All-Star in 2011. For the past two summers, he served in the role as an assistant for the Silversmiths.

A native of Syracuse, NY, Sherlock graduated from Cicero-North Syracuse High School in 2008. He currently works full time as the Safety Director for a local contracting firm.
