Oneonta native and 2008 graduate of Oneonta High School, Potter enters his third season as an assistant for the Red Dragons. He previously spent the past two years as a volunteer assistant. The Oneonta Native is a 2012 graduated from Brescia University (Owensboro, Ky) with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

He spent his first two collegiate seasons at Herkimer CCC where the Generals won the Mountain Valley Conference and competed in the Region 3 Championship both years. The Generals won the Region 3 championship in 2010 and competed in the Division 3 NJCAA national tournament where the squad finished third in the nation.

Potter graduated from Herkimer CCC in 2010 with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies before transferring to Brescia University where he was a two-year captain.

During the summer, Potter is an Assistant Coach for the Oneonta Outlaws. During the past two seasons, he has helped the Outlaws secure the Eastern Division Championship, finishing as the NYCBL runner-up in both seasons. Potter is currently the General Manager at the Triple Crown Baseball Factory, the area’s first indoor baseball training center.
