Dalton Beatty is in his sixth year as an assistant coach for the Red Dragons. His primary duties are first base coach, outfield coach, and assists with hitting.
Beatty played his first two years of baseball at Merced Junior College in California where he earned All-League honors both years. He then played out his final two seasons as a starting outfielder for Oneonta. In both seasons, he was an All-SUNYAC selection.
In his senior year, Beatty led the conference with 29 hits and a .408 batting average. His collegiate four-year totals include a batting average of .328, where he had 171 hits in 140 games played, starting in all 140.
Beatty earned his Associate Degree from Merced College in 2016. He graduated with a BS degree in Communication Studies from SUNY Oneonta in 2018. He also holds a Masters Degree in Sport Management and Recreation from the University of the Southwest.
