The Red Dragons did not go quietly as Marzillo homered over the center field fence to cut the score to 7-5, but that would be as close as they would get as King's starter got two consecutive ground outs to end the game.

Both games were even as Oneonta had 11 hits to King's 10 in the first game and each had nine in the second.
