Apr. 8th vs. Potsdam, W 6-3; W 11-10

The Red Dragons bounced back into conference action with two wins in the doubleheader versus Potsdam last Friday. In game one, Potsdam scored first after a liner up the middle.

The Red Dragons quickly responded in the second as senior Katie Hackenburg (Queensbury, Queensbury) got the inning started with a double to center. After Korin Ditulli (Hyde Park, F.D. Roosevelt) singled scoring Hackenburg, it was freshman phenom Tricia Kendziera (Poughquag, Arlington) who singled through the left side to score two as the Red Dragons went ahead 3-1.

In the third, the Bears scored to cut the lead to by one.

In the bottom of the inning it was Ditulli this time hitting a double as she picked up three RBI's scoring junior Caree Acre (New Berlin, Unadilla Valley), Hackenburg, and senior Sam Voncina (Derby, Lake Shore) to pull away from Potsdam, 6-2.
Iuliano allowed only two hits in the final four innings of the game and held off the Bears in a 6-3 victory.

In game two, both teams' bats came alive hitting shot for shot battling for the lead.

Potsdam once again got on the board first after a homerun in the second.

The Red Dragons answered back with a four run second inning after Potsdam had two errors and Oneonta playing small ball.

After singles by Hackenburg and Ditulli, sophomore Jaime Lukas (Ridgewood, NJ, Ridgewood) reached after an error in the outfield allowing the two runners to score.

Kendziera hit a SAC fly to score freshman Chandler Campbell (Port Jervis, Port Jervis) and Lukas came in after a wild pitch hit the backstop.

Potsdam again took the lead in the fourth as they crossed the plate on a bases loaded walk, a single up the middle scoring one run, and a groundout to second to score three in the inning.

Apr. 9th vs. Plattsburgh, L 1-12; W 7-4
