Dewar Arena was endowed by the Dewar Foundation, which has been a tremendous supporter of the college and the greater Oneonta community for many years. The Arena is the home for the basketball and volleyball teams during the year. The Arena is also the indoor practice facility for the track & field, lacrosse, baseball and softball teams during their seasons of competition. The basketball court was resurfaced in the summer of 2022 with the updated logo. The already impressive arena is now renovated and will continue to be one of Division III basketball's most desirable destinations.
The Arena also hosts high school basketball tournaments along with department, college and community functions including college commencement in May.
