Lidia Boucher (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem Central) shot 7-for-15 from the floor, 2-for-4 from three-point range and scored the game-high 20 points with four rebounds, a steal and a block, while freshman
Kayla Beaudoin (Brunswick, NY/Tamarac) went 4-for-7 from the field and finished with 15 points along with four steals. The result improved the Red Dragons to 7-5 this season, 2-3 in SUNYAC play, and dropped the Lakers to 5-7 overall and 3-3 in conference play.

The Red Dragons jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead at 6:58 with a basket from four different starters. Oswego pulled within four until junior
Megan Desrats (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley) drove to the rim for a pair of layups to put the team ahead 15-7 at 3:23. In the final minute, Desrats kicked it out to junior
Carlie Young (Baldwinsville, NY/Baldwinsville Central) for a triple from the wing, then she bounce passed it to freshman
Skye Cameron-Pressley (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) for a midrange jumper that gave Oneonta a 20-9 lead at the end of the period and a double-digit advantage for the rest of the game.
Boucher knocked down three midrange jump shots to score the first six points of the second quarter and put Oneonta ahead 26-9 at 8:14. The Lakers made it an 11-point deficit at 2:11 after an 8-2 run, then the Red Dragons answered back and ended the first half with a 7-2 stretch, where Boucher drained a three-pointer and Beaudoin scored the other four points, to go up 37-21 at the break.
Oneonta maintained the advantage to start the third with a layup from Beaudoin and a trey from freshman
Sydney Pleat (Albany, NY/Colonie Central), however Oswego brought it back to an 11-point game with 3:09 left. In the final minutes of the period, the Red Dragons rebuilt their lead back to 16, 49-33, with another 7-2 run. Young started it off with a hard drive to the rim for an and-one, then Boucher and freshman
Addy Eckert (Bloomville, NY/South Kortright) each drained a pair at the line.
Beaudoin scored the team's first four points in the final quarter before Boucher hit her second three-pointer of the game to give Oneonta their largest lead of the game, 56-35, with 6:53 to play. Oswego pieced together a run to get within 10 points with 57 seconds left, then Beaudoin ended the game with a free throw for the 60-49 final.
Young finished with eight points and five rebounds, while Eckert had six points and brought in seven boards. Desrats recorded the game-high four assists and four steals, along with the team-high eight rebounds.
Giavanna White-Principio led Oswego with 15 points and 12 rebounds for a double-double, and Zhane Holmes finished with 10 points and two steals.
The Red Dragons shot 36.2 percent from the floor, 73.7 percent (14-for-19) from the free throw line, and finished with a 39-37 edge in rebounds and a 21-11 advantage in points off turnovers. The Lakers shot 35.2 percent from the field and 50.0 percent (6-for-12) from the line.
Oneonta is on the road for their next game on Friday, January 16, when they travel west to play Buffalo State in SUNYAC play at 4 pm.
