ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The SUNY Oneonta women's basketball team dropped their SUNYAC game to Potsdam, 55-49, Friday evening in Dewar Arena. Senior Amanda Zuntag (Staten Island, NY/Notre Dame Academy) led the game with 18 points and 13 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season. The result moved the Red Dragons to 10-11 on the season, 7-7 in the SUNYAC, and the Bears improved to 9-11 overall and 5-8 in conference play.

Brown tied the game at 26 with 8:05 to go in the third when she stole a pass and went coast to coast for the lay in. Brown scored the next two baskets for Oneonta to keep the game tied until Potsdam's Carley Hill made a three-pointer to go up 33-30 at 4:10. The Red Dragons kept it a one-score deficit for the remainder of the quarter and got to within one, 37-36, when Zuntag split a double team for a layup.

Down 42-36, Oneonta scored six unanswered points and tied the game when Zuntag knocked down a three from the top of the key with 4:28 remaining. The Bears regained the lead for a moment until Young drained a corner three-pointer to tie it at 47 with 1:23 to play.
