Albany, NY - The SUNY Oneonta men's swimming and diving team split meets with RPI and St. Rose on Sunday. They were defeated by RPI 175-109 and came back with a win against St. Rose181-97. The split on the day makes the Red Dragons 2-2 on the young season.

The men recorded some notable results as freshman
James Llewellyn (Great River/East Islip), freshman Jon Stanzione, junior
Kyle Copper (Canandaigua/Marcus Whitman) and freshman Mason Delisio were runner-ups in 400 yard medley relay 3:49.92 just. 48 of second behind the RPI first place finishers.

Copper than came back with his own runner-up spot timing in at 1:53.80 in the 200 yard freestyle just over three-seconds behind the RPI victor.  Copper than repeated his runner-up spot in the 200-yard butterfly with a recorded time of 2:05.80 just over five-seconds behind the RPI winner.Â

Delisio had a runner-up finish in the 50 yard freestyle as he touched the wall with a time of 23.02 less than a second behind the pacer from RPI.Â

The final race on the day saw sophomore
Ross Caimano (Queensbury/Queensbury), senior
Derek Luhrs (Cornwall/Cornwall Central), senior
Sean Geddes (Farmingdale/Farmingdale) and Delisio recording another Red Dragon runner-up spot in the 200-yard freestyle relay checking in at 1:33.55 more than four-seconds behind RPI who took the top spot yet again.

Another Red Dragon mention as Senior
Colin Davis (Chester/Monroe-Woodbury) was a second place finisher in the three-meter dive as he recorded a score of 232.87 with again RPI taking top honors.  In the one-meter dive he was also a runner-up with a score of 225.75.

The Red Dragon men will get back in the pool on Saturday, November 13th at 1 PM against city rival Hartwick College on the campus of the Hawks.
