Oneonta, NY - The 2018-19 dual-meet season for the SUNY Oneonta men's swimming and diving squad opened with a loss to its conference foes finding themselves on the short side of a 136-107 score versus Oswego.
The Red Dragons did have some noteworthy results on the day which happened in the 200 yard freestyle as sophomore
Christopher Costanzo (Staten Island/Susan E. Wagner) found the winners circle timing in at 1:51.88 just under four-seconds ahead of the Oswego runner-up.  Later on in the 100 yard butterfly junior
Scott Richardson (Canandaigua/Canandaigua Academy) also scored a victory for the Red Dragons when he touched the wall with a time of 54.48 over one-second ahead of the Oswego second-place finisher.Â
In the diving competition junior
Christopher Corsello (Monroe/Monroe Woodbury) took top honors for the men in the one-meter dive with a score 155.80.
Next up for the SUNY Oneonta Men's Swimming and Diving team is a meet against the College of St. Rose on Saturday, November 3rd beginning at 1 PM in the Chase Pool on the campus of SUNY Oneonta.
