SUNY Oneonta junior
Kayla Belush (Earlville/Sherburne-Earlville) scored a pair of goals and added two more assists in leading the women's soccer team to a 5-0 drubbing of St. Joseph's College in its opening match of the 2016 Oneonta Mayor's Cup Tournament. Belush scored the first and last goal for Oneonta, as they evened its early season record at 2-2. The loss for the Golden Eagles dropped them to 0-2.

th minute of the match unassisted. She then assisted on the next two goals, the first coming from sophomore
Jess Downin (Franklin/Franklin Central) in the 30
th minute to give the Red Dragons a 2-0 lead that would take them into halftime.

Kelsie Moinzadeh (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) in the 68

Amanda Roney (Schoharie /Middleburgh) scored an unassisted goal out of a scuffle in the box.

Belush capped the scoring for the Red Dragons in the 85
th minute unassisted.

Oneonta registered 30 shots in the match including 20 in the second half.

The Red Dragons will play its home opener tomorrow on the final day of the Mayor's Cup at noon against Ursinus.
