Amanda Graziano (Riverhead/Riverhead) threw a complete game, four-hitter, in the second game of today's doubleheader at No. 21 Ithaca College, as SUNY Oneonta earned a split with the Bombers. Oneonta (9-10) won the nightcap, 3-1, after dropping the first game 5-4.

Graziano struck out three batters and the run allowed was unearned, as she picked up her fourth win of the season.

Oneonta scored its first run in the top of the second inning. Freshman
Dana DelGenio (New Hartford/New Hartford) reached on a fielder's choice, which put
Marlene Cuevas (Wappingers Falls/Roy C. Ketcham) out at second base. After a single to center field by sophomore
Cori McFall (Pleasant Valley/Arlington) moved DelGenio to second base, freshman
Selena Ruiz (Westbury/W.T. Clarke) roped a double to left field to drive in DelGenio. The next two batters were retired and McFall and Ruiz were stranded in scoring position.

The Red Dragons tacked on two more runs in the sixth inning. McFall, DelGenio and Ruiz were at the center once again. DelGenio led off the inning with a double to center field before stealing third. McFall then walked to put runners at the corners before Ruiz singled to drive in DelGenio. McFall came into score on a big two-out single by senior
Jamie Whittam (Saugerties/Saugerties) to give Oneonta a 3-0 lead.

Ithaca (16-6) scored its only run in the home half of the sixth after an error prolonged the inning. A two-out single by Erin McQuinlan drove in Hannah Anderson.

In the opener, the Bombers would score all of its runs in the second inning. The big blow coming off the bat of Allie Colleran, who hit a two-out grand slam over the left field fence.

The Red Dragons mounted a comeback with a single run in the fourth and three more in the fifth, but were shut down in the final two innings.

DelGenio drove in
Jennifer Brocco (Kingston/Kingston) in the fourth after Brocco started the inning with a double.

In the fifth inning Oneonta rallied thanks to an error by Ithaca with two outs. The big hit came from junior
Katie O'Gorman (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa), who drove in both Whittam and McFall.

Oneonta will play its home opener this Friday against Buffalo State beginning at 2pm.
