The SUNY Oneonta men's lacrosse team played its first game on the newly turfed Red Dragon Field today against Wells College and ran away from the Express 32-6. The Red Dragons scored early and often en route to the lopsided victory that set a program best for goals in a game.

Patrick Colligan (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) paced the Oneonta (3-1) offense with a collegiate best five goals. Junior
Daniel King (Hauppauge/Hauppauge) and freshman
Stephen Panno (Holtsville/Sachem East) both posted five points in the game. Senior Rob Neubert and sophomore
Hunter DeLuca (Medford/Patchogue Medford) each collected three goals.

Ryan Adler (Smithtown/Smithtown West), freshman
Andrew Helfman (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) and sophomore
Jack Connery (Homer/Homer) shared time in goal for the Red Dragons today. Adler earned the win, as he played the first quarter allowing no goals. Helfman made five saves in nearly 24 minutes of action while Connery registered a pair of saves over the final 21:09.

Oneonta will host Ithaca College this coming Wednesday beginning at 4pm.
