Oneonta, NY (Hartwick College)  -  The Hartwick College Hawks won city bragging rights defeating the SUNY Oneonta men's swimming and diving by a final score of  191-103.
A few highlights for the Red Dragon men transpired when junior
Zeke Brynin (Pleasantville/Pleasantville) took top honors in the 100-yard breaststroke timing in at 1:00.24 just .18 ahead of the Hartwick challenger. Brynin found his second victory on the day when he secured a triumph in the 200-yard breaststroke touching the wall with a time of 2:11.65 more than three seconds ahead of the Hartwick competitor. Â
In the diving competition freshman
Christopher Corsello (Monroe/Monroe Woodbury) and freshman
Jerome Wiggins (Binghamton/Binghamton) took first and second respectfully in the one meter diving event and followed that up with the same first and second order in the three meter dive. Between these two Red Dragon divers they compiled 26 points for Oneonta on the day.
The Red Dragons will head down to Lancaster, PA and compete in the Franklin and Marshall Invitational through next weekend beginning on Friday, November 18th at 6 PM.
