Men's Results \ Women's Results

The SUNY Oneonta cross country teams journeyed to the other hill tonight to participate in the Hartwick College Fast Course 5K race on the track.  Both teams came away with victories against its city rivals.  The men nearly posted a perfect score in winning 17-44 while the women won 20-40.

Taking top honors for the men and women tonight were a pair of newcomers to the program.  Sophomore transfers, Donato Geraci and Marisa Hitchcock, led their respective squads.  Geraci, who won the men's race, completed the event in 16:01 while Hitchcock was just edged at the finish in a time of 19:17.

On the men's side, the next six finishers for the Red Dragons were all in the top 10.  This group included five sophomores and one senior.  Sophomore Jay Berube (2nd), sophomore Bobby Gallant (3rd), sophomore Charles Remillard (5th), senior Anthony Romeo (6th), sophomore Juan Soriano (8th) and sophomore David Bohunicky (9th) comprised the top-7 for Oneonta tonight.

Behind Hitchcock tonight were sophomore Caitlyn Krug (3rd), junior Allison Ryley (4th), junior Danielle Kennedy (5th), sophomore Brianna McLoughlin (6th), junior Cara Ugolino (8th), and freshman Margaret Sanderson (10th) for Oneonta's top-7.

Oneonta will now prepare for the SUNYAC championship meet at Fredonia next Saturday, Oct. 27.
