Cortland put together a five-run second inning that proved to be too much to overcome in game one today. After the first two batters reached via a walk and a hit batter, a throwing error by Oneonta starter,
Ken Smith (Ossining/Ossining), loaded the bases with no outs.
Oneonta recorded the first out of the inning with a force out at home before Justin Fredenburg hit a single to right field to drive in the first two runs of the inning.
