Oneonta Shuts Out Penn State Abington 9-0

Red Dragons move to 2-0 in the NAC West

                  The SUNY Oneonta men's tennis weathered below freezing wind chill this afternoon and came  away with a 9-0 win against Penn State Abington in NEAC action.  The Red Dragons disposed of the visitors easily in recording its second conference win of the weekend.  Oneonta lost only six games in cruising ugh all six singles matches in straight sets.

                  The six singles winners for Oneonta in the match were sophomore #Adam Shapiro (East Rockaway/Lynbrook)# at first singles followed by senior #Matt Steinhauser (Plainview/JFK)#, junior #Will Sacco#, sophomore #Josh Slifkin#, junior

#John Taft (Queensbury/Glens Falls)# and sophomore #Joe Milstein# at two through six respectively.

                   In doubles action, Sacco and junior #Jon Dorin# won at first doubles, 8-2.  Steinhauser and Slifkin were victorious at second doubles, 8-1 while Shapiro and Taft won at third doubles, 8-0.
