Brockport could never get it going today as they only shot 19 percent from the field for the game, hitting only 10-of-53 shots including only 1-of-12 from behind the arc.  The Golden Eagles were led by senior Whitney Smith (Webster/Webster Thomas), who scored 14 points.
Both teams got off to a slow start with the score standing at 2-2 through the first seven minutes of the game.  A layup by senior Sara Chrystie (Oxford/Oxford) at the 13:44 mark got Oneonta off and running as they broke the game open with an 11-2 run.  The Red Dragons took a 25-11 advantage into the halftime break and never looked back.
Chrystie, who currently leads NCAA Div. III in assist-to-turnover ratio, finished the game with eight poiints, seven assists and six rebounds.
The Red Dragons will resume play this Friday night on the road at Buffalo State for a SUNYAC contest beginning at 6:00 p.m.
