Simmons was the top performer for the Red Dragons as they participated in the Cornell Relays this past Saturday.

She won both the 20-lb. weight throw and the shot put. Her toss of 15.74 (51’-7.75”) on her second throw was good enough to defeat another thrower by one-half inch.

In winning the shot put, Timmons bettered her school record by one-quarter inch with a heave of 11.69m (38’-4.25”).
