SUNY Oneonta Athletics

Brunetto ran her best race of the season and led the Oneonta State to its best finish ever as a team at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships.  Brunetto was the 22nd women’s finisher in the race as the Red Dragons scored 244 points to finish ninth as a team. The finish for Oneonta was the best ever at the championship as they cracked the top-10 in the region for the first time.    

Brunetto covered the 6K distance in a time of 22:51.5, which was a career-best time by over 16 seconds.

Her finish in the race earned her All-Region honors, which makes her only the second women’s runner to earn the honor.
