    Laronde was instrumental in helping the men’s soccer team capture it’s first SUNYAC title since 1975, when they were Division I. He had an assist in the semifinal matchup.
    Against Plattsburgh in the semifinal game, Laronde set up teammate Dan Josepher for the game tying goal, when he was able to put a great move on a Cardinal defender and drop the ball back for the goal.
    In the championship game against Brockport last Saturday, Laronde had many dangerous opportunities for the Red Dragons who defeated the Golden Eagles 1-0.
    For his play in the two tournament games, Laronde was selected as the SUNYAC Tournament Most Valuable Player.
