Kennedy helped lead the women’s cross country team to a fourth place finish this past weekend at the SUNYAC Championships held at Bowdoin Park. The team scored 88 points, just missing third place by three points.
She finished in fifth place overall with a time of 22:56.58. Kennedy’s performance got her into the SUNYAC Cross Country Hall of Fame, which makes her the third female to earn the honor.
Kennedy is the first to be inducted as a sophomore for Oneonta. She will also be a part of the SUNYAC All-Conference first team, which goes to the top-7 finishers at the championship meet.
