Boburka led the women in this weekend’s competition capturing the SUNYAC title in the long jump. Her leap of 5.20m (17’ ¾”) defeated the field by over two inches on Friday.

In other competition on the first day, Boburka place third in the Javelin throw with a toss of 32.25m (105’10”).

She also placed second in the high jump clearing 1.60m (5’3”) and at the same time competed in the shot put where she finished 7th with a throw of 10.85m (35’ 7 ¼”).

Boburka completed her championship with the triple jump earlier in the day where she placed third with a mark of 11.21m (36’ 9 ½”). She finished the day with a total of 32 points for the Red Dragons leading all field athletes.
