Carey captured her third straight SUNYAC title in the 100-yard breaststroke this past weekend at the conference championships.  For Carey, it was her fourth conference title having also won the 200-yard breastroke as a freshman.  This year, her winning time of 1:05.60 in the 100 broke her own school record.  Her time of 2:23.59 in the 200 also broke her own school record placing her second in the event just .15 seconds behind the winner.  Carey’s final individual event was the 200-yard IM where she placed eighth overall with a time of 2:16.08.
 
Carey was also a part of 200-yard free relay and the 200 and 400-yard medley relays that finished seventh, fourth and fourth respectively.
