Cervantes was the top performer for the Red Dragons this past Saturday helping to lead the men to the team title at the Utica College Invitational. Cervantes posted a pair of personal best marks on the day including an individual win in the weight throw.

Cervantes had a huge PR in winning the weight throw recording a mark of 16.31 meters (53’-6 ¼”), which was three feet further than his previous best mark. His performance also put him fourth all-time in the event while putting him at the top of the SUNYAC in the early season. Cervantes also had a personal best mark in the shot put where he finished 11th overall.
